It's hard to believe we have already completed our first month of school!  The children are becoming more comfortable in our classroom everyday.  It is exciting to watch new friendships grow, new skills emerge, and new interests blossom.

We have had a great first month in the Toddler Room and I look forward to many more!

Classroom Update
Candy and Emily are becoming excellent friends.  They enjoy coloring pictures in the art area together.  Tino, Katie and Vincent are quite the chef's. Everyday I enjoy soup and coffee, made and served by the trio! Winnie, Chloe, and Joan are also keeping our art area active.  Whether it is using many different colored crayons or gluing noodles to their paper, they have made some beautiful masterpieces! The book area is Quasar and Ashlee's favorite area.  They enjoy reading books to each other and their friends.  Christopher and Alexander's favorite thing to do is ride bikes during outdoor time.  Those boys sure keep active!  Chio and Koki are the best of friends. They enjoy playing in the house together, as well as building tall towers out of blocks!

Preschool 1 October 2014 Newsletter

Wow! This first month went by so quickly! It was great meeting all of you at the parent teacher potluck.  Thank you for coming.

Finnegan and ShaSha have really been enjoying our collection of Frozen books.  Serena, Finnegan,  Neo, and Daniel Hu have been exploring our dress up area…especially the fireman, train conductor and construction worker costumes.  Rino and Emily love playing with the My Little Pony Castle.  However, Emily and ShaSha also have loved the register in the house area. AnaghaNeo and Emily had a pretend birthday party and Sara built the exact replica of one of the Angry Bird structures from the side of the box!  Anagha, Sara, Kai, Emily and Daniel did an outstanding job writing their names correctly.  Kai, Eden and Gabriel have become very creative often combining the Hot Wheels set with blocks!

Five Little Pumpkins

The second one said,
“There are witches in the air!”
The third one said, “But we don’t care!”
The fourth one said, “Let's run and run and run!"
The fifth one said, “Isn't Halloween fun?
Then whoooaaaaaahhh went the wind,
And out went the lights!
And five little pumpkins rolled out of sight!
